In school and after school programs
During the week, we currently host both in school and after school programing that takes place on the grounds of the host school. CTA staff brings everything needed for the programs, all we require is an adequate space for students to get ready and a small outdoor area such as a sports field or playground. Our curriculum is designed for beginners with the aim to get kids moving outdoors doing a fun activity. Programming can be amended to focus on either physical or environmental education and is flexible to fit the needs of your school. After over a decade of operation, we have developed a curriculum that is both fun and engaging, but also develops critical nordic skiing skills and fosters a love of outdoor recreation.
Currently, we run programs in schools in Chittenden, Addison, Washington, and Franklin Counties and are continuing to expand throughout the state.
