UPDATE: SKIMO IS BACK FOR 2024!
Some long-time Skimo participants have stepped up to organize a Skimo Series this winter! Thanks to the many dedicated volunteers who are making this event happen! We’re not offering a season pass this year, but you can register each week for the remaining events at Bolton HERE.

Join us on Tuesday nights at Bolton Valley for some friendly uphill competition. The Green Mountain Skimo Series presented by Dynafit is here to get you off the couch and out on snow! This winter after work don’t let the darkness take you down. Embrace it and come kick some uphill butt! Getting after it once a week is great for your fitness, and will help you ski more once the weekend arrives. Who doesn’t want to be faster on the up, and stronger on the down!

TBD
Courses
Each course is unlit and finishes where it starts. Routes are 1.5-3.5km long with 700-1000ft of climbing and descending. Racing will begin at 6pm sharp and participants will ski as many laps as they want to, or can, in ~1 hour. After 6:50pm the uphill course will close, and beginning a new lap will no longer be allowed. Below are a few course examples. However, we do reserve the right to mix it up occasionally with new routes. All uphill courses will be marked with green LED wands, downhills will be marked with red LED wands, and the transition areas are marked with white LED wands. Participants should transition after the white LED wands and before the first green or red LED wands.
Cancellation Policy
We really try not to cancel any of these events. However, sometimes conditions and weather force our hand. Safety and fun are our primary considerations. If there is not enough snow or conditions are too icy to be safe we will cancel. If the temp is forecast to be -4ºF (-20ºC) or lower (with our without windchill) we will cancel. Otherwise the show will typically go on even if it’s snowing, windy, foggy, or sneeting.
