The CTA is a member driven organization whose work to expand access to Vermont’s backcountry is made possible by the generous support of members and donors.
Though we are a small organization, our accomplishments are anything but. North America’s longest backcountry ski trail. The first managed backcountry ski zones on public land in America, which are now considered some of the best backcountry skiing on the east coast. Hundreds of days worth of free backcountry ski tours every winter. The opportunity for over 500 kids a winter to go cross country skiing. Conservation work to ensure our favorite backcountry places are accessible for generations to come. None of this work would be possible without the support of our members and donors. Please consider making a contribution to the CTA today.
One-Time Donation
With a one-time donation to the CTA’s Annual Fund or Trail Fund you can directly support our ongoing work to improve and conserve the Catamount Trail, support chapters, expand managed backcountry zones, run our annual ski tours, and introduce the next generation to skiing through Ski Cubs.
Recurring Donation
By setting up a recurring weekly, monthly, or annual donation, you can help sustain the year-round work of the CTA. Recurring donations are easy to set up and manage in your CTA account. Just as the CTA’s work doesn’t stop when the snow melts in the spring, recurring donations help sustain our work by providing steady, ongoing support year round.
Founder’s Society
The Founder’s Society honors members who contribute $1000 or more to the CTA within the calendar year and receive benefits including:
• Recognition in CTA publications
• Special biannual reports
• A yearly outing and reception
• An open invitation to explore the Catamount Trail for a day accompanied by CTA staff

This can be done at any age by amending an existing will or drafting a new one. Upon your death your bequest will go to support the Catamount Trail Fund and make grants to the CTA that support our work long after you are gone.
Charitable Gift Annuity
When you establish a charitable gift annuity, you make a commitment to the Catamount Trail
Association for generations. And you benefit with tax savings and a dependable fixed income for life.CGAs are ideal for individuals who want a guaranteed source of income from their gift, regardless of what happens on the stock market.
