We’d like to express a heart-felt thanks to the 150+ Vermonters (and one Massachusetts resident!) who turned out and/or otherwise contributed to our 2nd Annual Vermont Backcountry Forum and Celebration last Thursday 11/6 in Rochester, VT – an event we co-hosted with the Rochester Area Sports Trail Alliance (RASTA), and our parent organization, the Catamount Trail Association (CTA). Proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets at the event and new memberships generated more than $3000 for our organizations – funds that will be directed to the responsible management of backcountry zones in the Rochester, VT region, and beyond.
