We received good news from the Forest Service on Friday… They have approved the glades proposed by the Rochester Area Sports Trails Alliance (RASTA) in Brandon Gap.
This is a very important step, but we’re not quite at the point where work can start in this area. The US Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) still has to sign off as well, but we are very close. Once we receive approval from the USFWS this project will be implemented in an organized, methodical manner supervised by the USFS. Please do not get overly excited and start clipping on your own. Everyone has worked very hard to get to this point and we want to do this right!
