IMG_20141112_105746Friday Office Volunteers
Come by our Burlington office on Fridays from 9am-12pm to help us send mailings, make phone calls, enter data, proof read and more. This is a great way to meet the CTA staff and learn more about what we do year-round. You don’t need to be available for all three hours or on every Friday. If you’d like to help out in the office on a different day, give us a  call to make arrangements.

DSC_3021The North Face Race to the Top of Vermont
Join our team of volunteers on the last Sunday in August to put on an awesome run/bike/hike race to the top of Mount Mansfield. Opportunities include parking, registration, course/venue set-up, water station, ticket booth, van driving, event break-down, awards ceremony, and photography/digital video. As a North Face Race to the Top volunteer, you’ll get a tech shirt, raffle ticket, and entry to the post-race BBQ. Visit for more information on the event. Sign up by filling out the RTTOVT Volunteer Form.

IMAG1121Easement Monitoring
CTA’s Trail Protection Program works with landowners to obtain permanent trail access easements. These easements ensure that the trail remains open for skiing and that improper use of the trail corridor does not occur. CTA is seeking volunteers to walk a protected trail segment each year. Training will be provided.

 Shuttle Driverspowsurf1
A constant challenge for thru-skiers of the Catamount Trail is the issue of transportation to and from the trail. The CTA is compiling a list of contacts who would be willing to shuttle skiers to and from different trail access points.

Contact if you’d like to be added to the list.
