We are very excited to be working with Caroline from Mola Hoods on a collection of cozy mid-weight fleece to help celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Catamount Trail! These will be perfect for frosty morning skins, snuggling up next to the fire, or fall trail work days!
There are three styles to choose from… Crewneck… Zip Hoody… Hoody w/kangaroo pocket. All three are made from a mid-weight grid fleece that is very soft. It’s lighter than what you’d find on something like the R1 from Patagonia, but more substantial than a heavy baselayer. It should be just about the perfect as a piece of active insulation.
These limited edition pieces will be available for purchase on the Mola Hoods Website from Monday, September 11 thru Friday, September 29th… or until we run out of material. Mola Hoods uses deadstock which refers to fabric that is leftover from another brands production run. Sourcing their fabric this way helps minimize costs, and it helps keep perfectly good fabric out of the landfill.
Mola Hoods is a small apparel manufacturer based in Richmond, VT whose products are all made to order. This does increase turn-around time, but it allows Mola to minimize waste and means they always have your size in stock! They offer a lifetime warranty against defects and will gladly repair damage resulting from use at a reasonable rate. Mola Hoods’ products are designed to last!
