So, apparently the issue of goggle gap on the slopes and at the resorts is becoming a pretty serious problem. It’s such a significant problem that a coalition of snow sports industry manufacturers and associations has taken it upon themselves to try and end gaping once and for all. They’ve created the Erase The Space campaign to address issues related to helmet fit, goggle compatibility and the related safety concerns.
Personally, we find this amusing and we’re sure they’re just trying to sell more product. However, you can’t argue that a good fitting helmet and googles really do make your experience out on the slopes and in the backcountry that much more enjoyable. So, maybe you’re looking to update your kit, or maybe you yourself suffer from the dreaded gap… if that’s the case you might just want to check out some of these helmet and google fitting tips.
