Intro to Backcountry Touring Clinics
Do you have an AT, Tele, or Splitboard setup, but are new to uphilling or backcountry touring? Looking for some tips from experienced (and friendly!) skiers and riders to get you started?
Join us for an Introduction to Backcountry Touring during these afternoon clinics hosted by the Catamount Trail Association (CTA) in partnership with our CTA Chapters MBA and MRVBC and local resorts Bolton Valley and Sugarbush, with event support from SCOTT Sports.
These clinics will offer a mix of indoor information sessions and demos and outdoor demos, skills sessions, and a tour to put it all together on the skintrack. We’ll end the day with an optional happy hour and raffle at the lodge!

Community Ski Days
CTA is once again offering community ski days where community members can try out cross-country skiing and snowshoeing free of charge.
While we are surrounded by opportunities to recreate outside here in Vermont, these opportunities are not always easy to access. There are many barriers — equipment, technical skill, travel, etc. Our hope is that these community ski days might allow more people to enjoy getting outside this winter.

Green Mountain Skimo Series
Join us for some friendly uphill competition! This winter after work don’t let the darkness take you down. Embrace it and come kick some uphill butt! Getting after it once a week is great for your fitness, and will help you ski more once the weekend arrives. Who doesn’t want to be faster on the up, and stronger on the down?
