It’s an opportunity to give back to the backcountry community, and support the Catamount Trail Association (CTA) and its chapters. The CTA has spent the last 35+ years working to protect Vermont’s wild spaces, make possible amazing outdoor winter experiences, and expand access to the outdoors. This work enhances quality of life and helps make Vermont a wonderful place whether you call it home, or are just visiting.
The VTBC Challenge is also an opportunity to stretch yourself. It’s a chance to attempt something difficult, something that will make a difference to others.
