2025 Community Ski Day Location Details and Schedule Coming Soon!
CTA is once again offering community ski days where community members can try out cross-country skiing and snowshoeing free of charge.
While we are surrounded by opportunities to recreate outside here in Vermont, these opportunities are not always easy to access. There are many barriers — equipment, technical skill, travel, etc. Our hope is that these community ski days might allow more people to enjoy getting outside this winter. We also hope to announce new locations for this season!
Community Ski Day Location – More locations coming!
Intervale Center – Date TBD (MAP)
This event is 100% free, and no appointment is required. Participants can drop-in at anytime during the event period to try out XC Skiing. Equipment and basic instruction will be provided by the CTA, and a limited number of snowshoes will also be available for those looking for an outdoor adventure other than XC skiing.
For the Intervale Community Ski Day we are asking that participants park at the Intervale Community Farm (MAP). Equipment will be available at the Catamount Trail Tent. Participants can then access all of the great trails available at the Intervale Center. Questions can be emailed to us at info@catamounttrail.org.
