What We Say:
Come hang out with us and the Onion River Sports Crew at the Savoy in Montpelier on Tuesday, December 3rd. We’re getting together to celebrate the start of another season, to socialize, and to watch a sweet skiing movie. This isn’t just another huck-fest documentary put to music… the guys at Sweetgrass Productions want to tell you a story. They do this by telling a fictional story with the skiers as the actors. Don’t worry… they didn’t forget that you’re here to watch some amazing athletes ski some incredible lines with outstanding conditions. The music is great, the skiing is awesome and the format is definitely not what we’ve come to expect. So… come on down to the Savoy on Tuesday and get Psyched For Winter!
What They Say:
Valhalla, Sweetgrass Productions’ fourth feature film, is the tale of one man’s search to rediscover the freedom of his youth. Feeling the distant heat of it’s fire still burning in the mountains of the frozen north, he goes in search of those tending the flame—the untamed, the wild, and the outcast dwelling on the fringe.
Weaving narrative-driven style with award-winning, face-melting backcountry ski and snowboard cinematography; Valhalla is a vivid explosion of color, character, snow, and nostalgic soul.
