Exciting news! The Ski Cubs Program continues to grow with the addition of a volunteer-led school program in Bennington, Vermont. Last fall, a Bennington community member came to us with the idea of launching a Ski Cubs program down in the south of Vermont. Here at the CTA we were excited about the prospect of bringing our program to more kids in other regions of the state.
Well, the idea has become a reality! Dorothy Wallace-Senft, our on-the-ground instructor extraordinaire has put in a lot of hard work to get 20 elementary school students out on cross-country skis every week. A big shout out to Dorothy, and also to our friends at SkiRack, Blueberry Hill Inn, and Rossignol for helping us affordably acquire new equipment to expand our fleet of skis, boots and poles.
