Six Cross Country Skiing Hacks Posted February 3, 2022 Greg Maino Here are a few hacks from our Section 21 Trail Chief Debbie Page! Use toe warmers and handwarmers overnight to dry things out when on multi-day adventures. Some hot chocolate in my End-to-End mug after a tour, or take in a small thermos for on the trail. A Skhoop down skirt that opens up for a sit upon and/or for some easy on/off warm on the trail. Thanks Julie Higgins! A couple of hand warmers rolled up in your chin warmer to keep the back of your neck warm. Patagonia’s Capilene Air Hoody. Light and wicking. No big lump behind your neck. I shamelessly have three! Aren’t they pretty? A sticky bun just before you start out for energy. Thanks Sheri Larsen. And there you have it from 13 years on the glorious Catamount Trail!
