Ski Cubs Weekend Program
Ski Cubs is the Catamount Trail Association’s flagship learn-to-ski program. Run at Catamount Outdoor Family Center on Saturday mornings, Ski Cubs provides transportation from the Winooski and Burlington area, instruction, and trail passes to all of our participants. We make the program as accessible as possible, so the students only responsibility is arrive at the bus!
Program Outline
Who Can Participate
Ski Cubs is open to any students ages 8 and up in the Greater Burlington area. No experience is needed, and participation is free.
Instruction
Our instructors are dedicated interns and volunteers with many years of nordic skiing experience. They have an in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and work hard each week to provide an enjoyable experience for your student.
Location
Ski Cubs takes place at Catamount Outdoor Family Center, located at 592 Governor Chittenden Road, Williston, VT 05495.
Schedule
This is a 6-week program held on Saturdays from 9:30am-12pm during January and February.
Transportation
Bus transportation is provided each Saturday. There are three pick-up/drop-off locations:
- Sustainability Academy, 123 North St., Burlington
- O’Brien Center, 32 Malletts Bay Ave., Winooski
- Winchester Place, 7 Douglas Ave., Colchester
You may also provide your own transportation if preferred.
