Volunteer with Ski Cubs
We are always looking for more volunteers to assist us! There are options to support our youth programs, outlined below. As a volunteer, a trail pass to the nordic center is provided at no-cost and adult-sized equipment is available for you to rent, should you need it.
- Ski Instructor: Teach beginner and/or advanced cross-country skiing technique.
- Ski Assistant: Ski with students during and after lessons. Basic skiing experience required
- Monitor: Helping students on the bus ride and in the lodge. No ski experience required. Skiing is optional.
- Pre and Post season ski maintenance: Helping to prepare the skis (checking over equipment, waxing, making repairs, ect.), or decommissioning equipment (re-checking after season, storage wax, repairs, ect.)

Donations
We are always looking for more nordic gear to add to our collection. If you have extra junior sized (130-170 cm) nordic skis or any size boots, we would love to collect your gently used hear! We also provide winter clothing for students in need, so if you have spare youth-sized jackets, hats, mittens, or warm layers that are in good condition, contact our Outreach and Youth Programs Coordinator to set up a donation time.
