Section 15 of the Catamount Trail.  Located in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest, quiet wilderness trails, snowshoe trails, skiing for all abilities.  Note: Blueberry Hill Ski Center relies on donations  for a portion of the trails in the section. They offer soup and snacks and welcome you to stop in to warm up. Donations appreciated.

Bolton Valley:

Sections 21 and 22 of the Catamount Trail.  Located 19 miles west of Burlington, the resort is situated on 5,200 acres of pristine Landscape. The ambiance and serenity of the area is perfect for the nordic explorer.

Camel’s Hump Nordic Skiers’ Association (CHNSA):

Section 20 of the Catamount Trail.  CHNSA is a member-supported 501(c)(3) non-profit Nordic ski area and association dedicated to the enjoyment of cross-country skiing.  

The Association maintains over 60km of trails that are open to its members.  Skiers are welcome to join the CHSNA for the season or for just a day of skiing. Dogs are welcome on certain trail sections.


Catamount Outdoor Family Center:

Craftsbury Outdoor Center:

Edson Hill Touring Center

Sections 23 and 24 of the Catamount Trail.  The touring center offers ski and snowshoe rentals.  Check with the touring center to see what fun events are planned.

The touring center offers several km of groomed trails though forest and meadows, connecting to the famous Catamount Ski Trail. Beginner, intermediate and challenging XC trails.


Grafton Ponds Nordic Ski:

Hazen’s Notch Association:

Near Sections 29 and 30 of the Catamount Trail.  XC Ski and Snowshoe in the Hazen’s Notch Area of northern Vermont known for spectacular mountain scenery and plentiful snow. The Hazen’s Notch Association is a non-profit conservation organization that maintains 40 miles of trails that cross 2500 acres of private land.

Highland Lodge:

Jay Peak Nordic Center:

Near Sections 30 and 31 of the Catamount Trail.  The Nordic center includes 20km of traditional and skate skiing trails and over 5km of snowshoe trails.  New trails have been set all along the golf course cart paths and out by the existing Ullr’s Loop (over by the Flyer Express Quad).  The “Jay Trail Way” is a walking/hiking trail system that runs up and down the length of the Jay Branch Brook, up to Ullr’s woods, and near the base of the West Bowl.  It is a beautiful, peaceful, and inspiring trail.

Okemo Valley Nordic Center:

Rikert Nordic Center:

Section 16 of the Catamount Trail.  Excellent range from beginner to expert; racing trail for competition.  55km total. For multi-day skiers parking here, please ask for a parking pass so they can keep track of overnight vehicles.
