This Catamount Trail tour offers visits to four cross-country ski centers, spectacular backcountry terrain, and lodging at some of Vermont’s finest ski inns. Spend the first day at the Bolton Valley Nordic Center, then ski to the historic Trapp Family Lodge on Day 2. The tour continues to Topnotch Nordic Barn Adventure Center on Day 3, and then to the Stowe Cross-Country Ski Center on Day 4, concluding at either the Stowe Mountain Resort or in the village of Stowe.

Route Description: From Trapp Family Lodge, ski 7 miles of intermediate backcountry trail. From there, choose your own adventure: ski straight to Topnotch and finish out the day exploring the trails at the Topnotch Nordic Barn Adventure Center, or stop first at the Stowe Mountain Resort Ski Center to ski their trails there before continuing on. Topnotch has access to 30km of groomed and backcountry skiing, while Stowe boasts 45km of groomed trails and 30km of backcountry trails. Either option makes for great skiing!
