Nothing ruins a good day of skiing like ill fitting boots. And backcountry kicks can be especially difficult to fit. Unlike their alpine counterparts BC boots are expected to be comfortable while walking, climbing and skinning… and then still be able to crush it on the descent! That’s a tall order, but it’s not impossible to achieve.
There are those of you out there blessed with perfect feet that can get a great fit right out of the box. But, the truth is, most of us will benefit greatly from some time spent with a good boot fitter. So, for the month of November we’ve teamed up with Intuition Liners, the Skirack and Alpine Shop to offer you the chance to shroud your feet in comfort and bliss this season!
Intuition Liners has generously donated two gift certificates good for any liner they sell, and the Skirack in downtown Burlington, and Alpine Shop in South Burlington, VT will provide the professional boot fitting experience.
There are (2) two liner/boot fitting packages available. The first winner will be chosen at random on Monday, November 16th. The second and final winner will be chosen on Monday, November 30th.
“Boot Fitting Services” may include custom insoles, shell and liner modifications, stance alignment assessment & adjustment, and (1) one follow up visit to ensure an exceptional fit. Your boot fitter of choice will help guide you through the process and will advise you on the types of modifications and adjustments which will help improve your skiing and comfort, and those which will not. The boot fitting process depends very much on the individual’s anatomy and chosen boot, and that’s why we’ve chosen to partner with two of the best boot fitters in the area. They will not steer your wrong.
The Total Estimated Value of each package is $450-$500… so don’t hesitate. Sign up today and then share with your friends. The next worst thing to having poor fitting boots, is a friend constantly complaining about poor fitting boots.
